Football in My Hometown is a heartfelt tribute to Friday-night lights, small-town pride, and the brotherhood forged on the field. The song follows the journey of a high-school football team from early-morning workouts to packed stadiums, homecoming nights, to the final game of the season.
At its core, the song celebrates more than the game — it honors leadership, sacrifice, and the faith that shapes young men into brothers and families. It reflects the belief that faith doesn’t stop at the church doors, but walks with us into every part of life — including the football field.

By Faith is a bold country-rap anthem rooted in Scripture, telling the story of courage, conviction, and trust in God. From David facing Goliath to the modern Church standing firm, the song declares that victory does not come by strength or status, but by faith in the Lord. Grounded in the truth of Ephesians 2:8–9, it reminds us that salvation is by grace through faith — not by works — so that no one may boast, and all glory belongs to the Lord of host! My wife is such a blessing and a gift from God. We have been married for 16 years now, and every day with her is a blessing. Back in July, she took a little trip to Italy, and believe it or not, that was the longest time we had ever been apart. While she was there, I must admit, I missed her dearly. One day I sent her a text that said, “Me without you does not feel like me.” That text, along with the story of our 2nd chance at love, became the inspiration behind this song.
God has made us one! Me, without her, could never be me!
Christmas is about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This song helps us remember what this time of year is all about.
Luke 2:10-14 ESV
10 And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. 12 And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
My life was forever changed when God gave me “My Baby Girl.” If you listen to the song,
you’ll notice the lines:
“The seasons were changing, and so was my heart,
My baby girl’s journey was about to start.”
These words reference the fall — October, to be more precise — the month she was born. My heart was forever changed on that October day.
Happy Birthday, my baby girl. Never forget your daddy loves you.
I encourage you to read Ephesians chapter 4. You will understand the inspiration behind this praise and worship song.
Ephesians 4:4-6 ESV
4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
